This gentle nursery garland is designed as a decorative handmade accent, not a toy. It uses small crochet circles and leaves joined to a short cord. Hang it where it looks sweet in the room but stays fully out of reach of babies and young children.
Supplies
- Small amounts of DK cotton or cotton blend in ivory, dusty blue, sage, and muted peach
- 3.5 mm crochet hook
- Tapestry needle, scissors, measuring tape
Gauge and finished dimensions
Gauge is not critical. Each circle measures about 2.25 in across after blocking. Finished garland length: about 36 in, depending on spacing.

Use reminder
This garland should be treated as room decor. Do not attach it to a crib rail, stroller, car seat, or anywhere a baby can pull on it. Check hanging points regularly if it is displayed in a nursery.
